BRAVE B-CURIOUS – A MODULAR PLATFORM 

Investigate (nano)particle size distributions and concentration over time in the lab

The BRAVE B-Curious nanoparticle analyzer gives you a second-by-second, particle-by-particle view of your particles and nanoparticles, and even detects ultra-low concentrations and uncommon large particles. 

APPLICATION FIELDS

BRAVE B-Curious is made up of different modules. Choose what you want to determine. You can add more modules to your BRAVE B-Curious at any time later.

Time-resolved sizing

  • Insight into sample behavior over time, e.g. from one second to several hours

  • Monitoring particle size distributions continuously, directly out of containers.

 

  • Size range: 20 nm to 3 µm (sample-dependent)

Low-volume sizing

  • Single-particle accuracy, similar to NTA but with ultra-high particle count and results in seconds, updated continuously.

  • Determination of particle size distribution from low volumes, starting at 20 µl (sample-dependent).

Coming soon: particle analysis

  • Characterizing particle populations using spectroscopic particle data.

Concentration determination

  • In-depth knowledge of different particle populations, including ultra-low concentrations, oversized particles and anomalies.

  • Detection of ultra-low concentrations, e.g. nanoplastics, water for injections.

Size-range extension

  • Detection of large particle tails, LPC, aggregation behaviors.

  • Sizing range: 20 nm to 50 µm (sample-dependent).

  • Information on aggregration, dissociation, large particle counts and monitoring of rare oversized particles.

Coming soon: Raman tweezers

  • Characterization on a single-particle basis with Raman spectroscopy. 

BRAVE B-Curious was presented at Analytica 2022 in Munich and will be launched in Q1 2023.

SOFTWARE

BRAVE B-Curious is delivered with the H.A.N.S. software. H.A.N.S. stands for High-throughput Analysis Nano-characterization Software; it is an integrated data management system for managing, transferring and storing your measurement data. H.A.N.S. also connects BRAVE B-Curious with your LIMS to enable simple further processing of the data. Special interfaces are available on request.
